My name is Jef Keep, the owner of Daily Planet Virtual Services.

I joined the virtual assistant industry in 2005 and bring 20 plus years of administrative and management skills working in various environments from the (now defunct) Distant Early Warning Line in the Arctic Circle (as a radar technician) to the provincial government of Ontario working in a variety of administrative and executive assistant positions.

I have, throughout my career, been involved in everything from doing early word processing (on 1980′s-era dedicated Philips word processing systems) to the complete start up of a downtown Toronto small-business consulting corporation, managing three distinct service companies within it.

During my career, I have worked for such remarkable, not-for-profit agencies as:

• The AIDS Committee of Toronto (Office Manager/LAN Network Administrator)
• The Ontario Media Development Corporation (Executive Assistant to the Director)
• KIDS Help Phone Foundation (Executive Assistant to the President)
